Frome Festival is moving ahead. Martin Dimery has accepted an invitation to be Guest Creative Director of Frome Festival for 2008 and 2009.

The Festival has restructured its administration after seven successful annual events and following Martin Bax's decision to step down.

"I am delighted to take on this new role", said Martin Dimery, who is continuing as Programme and Marketing Manager at the Cheese & Grain in Frome. "I shall be working closely with the Festival's Creative Team, which is expanding its membership. Ideas are already buzzing for next year's programme."

The 2008 Festival will run from the 4th to the 13th July.
